HAPPY BIRTHDAY LANDON!!!

Landon had his first birthday Wednesday, the 24th! But we didn't celebrate till Saturday.  I can't believe how fast the time if flying! 

We went to the Rex Center in Rexburg to play on the "RJump".  So. Much. Fun.

But first things first.  We played in the arcade for a bit.  I went and changed Landon's diaper and came back and found them in the arcade.  Ron said-"We have a game to play." So I set everything down next to the pool table and waited for him to put the tokens in...Apparently we weren't on the same page...we were going to have a DANCE OFF!!

it did't turn out to well, we both gave up and decided it was just because it wasn't any fun!!

Madilyn had fun though!

But we had a BLAST on the jump equipment! The slides were HUGE! Like up to the ceiling in the movie theater!!

It didn't even phase Madilyn at all!

Landon even loved it.  As soon as we would reach the top he'd just start giggling!  SO cute!

The kids had so much fun neither one of them wanted to wake up for the birthday party!!

He LOVES his John Deere dump truck! He couldn't wait for me to open it!

I am so excited it is MARCH 1st! I aboslutly LOVE the changing of the seasons.  Fall and Spring are my favorite.  Now that it is officially March I can hope spring is really on its way!...But as for February here's just a recap of the kids! 

We made sugar cookies for Valentine's Day!  The kids apsolutly LoVeD them!  Now a day doesn't go by that I don't get asked if we can make cookies!

Landon's become quite the snuggle bug! I love it when he just barries his head into my shoulder!

But he's also been pretty entertaining! I can't believe how grown up he is keeps getting...he changes everyday!

I've REALLY got to keep an eye on him!

All I ever ask for for Valentine's Day is flowers...after 5 years I finally got them! Thank you Ronald!

Madilyn's imagination is endless!  Here she is looking up at the stars singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star to them!

Not so sure what this is all about...something about making stairs with the cushions?

Landon finally cut his first tooth.  He chews and chews on pork chop bones...hey, it keeps him happy!

I finally got some organizers for all the toys!  I'm loving them so far!  SO much better than toys getting lost in the big huge toy bucket!  I can't wait to get everything else organized now! Who HONESTLY looks forward to Spring Cleaning?!?!  I AM...until the time comes to actually do it.  I just want everything CLEAN and ORGANIZED!

 Welcome SPRING!

February 18th!

Ok..so I haven't been blogging about my accomplishments since Christmas.  (Because I haven't done anything note worthy)  I decided now would be a great week to start since I have:

1. Pieced my entire quilt together (just waiting to get it quilted and bound!!)

oops I forgot that scarecrow was missing an eye...I'll have to fix that before I take it in...

2. I've ran THREE miles this week! WOOHOO! I even got up to 6 miles an hour for a few minutes tonight-thats a MAJOR accomplishment there people!

3.  I've started to enjoy babysitting!  The little girl is getting MUCH better...mostly because she'll actually eat now and even take naps-WITHOUT me laying down with her the whole time which leads me to number 4...

4. I've started on my SECOND quilt!  This one is not nearly as intense!  Just a simple Levi/John Deere Quilt for MY ok...OUR bed! I've cut out 73- 7 inch squares as of tonight!

5. Bought all the materials for Madilyn's Easter dress which I am going to attempt to make only with the help of the expert advice of Mrs. Pamela.

I think its going to turn out DARLING!

6. Finally got my hair recolored and cut...but a picture won't be posted until its recut evenly.  -it shrunk REALLY bad after the first chop so i think she was afraid she was going to make even shorter on the other side. The picture on facebook is of the LONG side about 1/2 inch longer!!  Hopefully I can get an appointment Sooner than Later, especially since I have to teach on Sunday!!

Well, I've had a great week.  Its flown by Super Duper Fast!  And Tomorrow we get to go to the basketball game with OUT kids and then to dinner with LuNdHoLm'S!  Should be fun!

Grandma Boyer sent me a valentines in the mail!  I just wanted to show her how well I can color now and in the brand new coloring book she gave me! 

Not too bad!  Especially for how she holds her crayon!  She got her middle and ring finger caught in the tredmill a few days ago and refuses to use them untill the skin grows back and the scab is gone!  If you ask me she's doing pretty good without them!

"Little Girl Words and Dad Words"

This morning when Ron woke Madilyn up, she noticed he had a black toe nail. After asking what happened, she said, "Oh Darn!".

Ron-"Yep, Oh Darn."

Madilyn-"No, that's a little girl word.  You're not supposed to say that!"

Ron-"Well what AM I supposed to say?"

Madilyn looks around and gives him a funny look like...I'm not supposed to say it! You really want me to??

Ron-"What do I say then?"

Madilyn- "Oh Shit?"

I keeping telling Ron he needs to watch his mouth-especially around the kids.  We agreed that he has until he gets repeated to quit.  ...looks like it might be longer than I had hoped for!  Too funny that she knows which ones are bad and not to say them!!
